LIVING LOUD…
In speech
In life
In love
In faith
In purity
By example

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
This weekend will be filled with opportunities to grow in our faith, share the gifts God has given us in service to others, for learning, for worship and for fun.

Rev. Terry Dittmer, Director of the LCMS Youth Ministry Office will be our plenary leader for the weekend. Music will be provided by select CYM Teams from Concordia University - River Forest, Illinois and we’ve got what we believe are some excellent workshop leaders to assist us on Saturday.

Workshop sessions will include "Faith Goes to the Movies"; "Beyond Imagination" – Getting Ready for the 2004 National Youth Gathering"; " How to’s on Music, Puppet & Drama Ministry"; A panel discussion about college life – what’s it really like?"; "The best of Teens Leading Teens"; and a craft & servant event area to name just a few.

On Sunday morning, we are privileged to have Rev. Dr. William Ameiss, President of the Northern Illinois District with us as the preacher for our Communion Worship Service. The Sunday Morning Offering is being earmarked for Walcamp Outdoor Ministries to assist with their 2*B*FREE in 2003 Challenge Grant.

Registration cost for the weekend is $125.00 per person – Registrations must be received no later than October 24, 2003. Congregations wishing to take advantage of the early bird registration fee of $100.00 need to have their registrations postmarked no later than October 1, 2003. Registrations must be accompanied by payment.
Checks should be made payable to: NID Youth Ministry and mailed to: Northern Illinois District 2301 S. Wolf Road Hillside, Illinois 60162

We are asking participants to start saving the prizes from fast food kids meals & cereal boxes…we’ll be collecting them for missionaries to use as gifts for the kids they are sharing the love of Christ with. We would encourage you to ask your congregation to assist in this project. Provide a collection box in the narthex where people can drop off the toys and then bring the box with to the gathering.
